Free email services, such as Hotmail, often mistakenly identify email from Habbo as spam and take action by placing the email directly into your junk or spam mail folder. If you have used the Habbo Help Tool and not received an response, you should always check the junk mail folder.
If you are not receiving email to either your main Hotmail inbox OR your junk mail folder, you should check your junk mail settings to ensure that you have not selected the option to delete junk mail automatically or to block the sender.
Hotmail automatically deletes email in the junk mail folder after 5 days, so it's a good idea to check every day after sending a request through the Habbo Help Tool.
If your Habbo is registered to an AOL email address, you may have difficulties receiving the following:
• Mails asking you to verify your email address.
• Mails confirming the registration of your Habbo.
• New passwords if you’ve forgotten yours and have used the Habbo Help Tool to request a new one.
We advise Habbos to create a new email account using a free email service. You can find a list of those at http://www.emailaddresses.com/email_web.htm
Once you have created a new email address, log in to Habbo Hotel as normal and click on the ‘Update my Habbo ID’ link. Then click on the ‘Next’ button until you see a link to ‘Change your email’. Simply enter your password, date of birth and your new email address and click ‘Ok’. You should now start to receive email from Habbo Hotel!
