Habbo has a secure trading system, you can trade items without fear of them being stolen.
To trade with another Habbo just click on them and a 'trade' button will appear under their name on the bottom right hand side of the Habbo window. If you click the 'trade' button a window will pop-up and you can drag the item you wish to trade from your hand to the window. When you are happy with the trade tick the box.
Remember - you must have trading enabled in order to trade with other Habbos!
You can't trade in Public Rooms and you can only trade in Guest Rooms that have been placed in one of the following categories:
* Trading Rooms
* Gaming Rooms
* Sporty Rooms
* Habbo Services
* Other
No, trading is optional. You can click on their Habbo and then select "Ignore".
Remember, you can also disable trading in your account settings!
Habbos will often claim they can double your furni if you trade it to them, this is a lie and they are trying to steal your furni. If someone tries this then you should send a 'call for help' and report them to an on duty Moderator, then leave the room.
No they are trying to steal your Furni, you should send a 'Call for Help' and report them to an on duty Moderator, then leave the room.
There is no guide to what items of furni are worth, they are worth whatever you are willing to accept or pay for them.
No you can only trade in guest rooms.
Most likely you do not have the trading pass and therefore you are not eligible to trade according to the new trading rules.
You have to fulfil the following criteria:
1) Your email address must be verified.
2) Your account must be at least 3 days old.
3) You must have been on Habbo for at least 3 hours after creating your account.
No. When you get your trading pass, trading is automatically turned on :-)
The most likely reason is that trading is disabled by your account's security settings.
You can change them by visiting
Habbo.co.uk, signing in, and clicking Account Settings, then Security Settings
Yes you can, but please remember that when you enable trading, it takes effect 24 hours from the change of settings to take effect. Moderators or Player Support can’t change it for you, or make it come into effect any quicker
This is a security measure. If you enable trading you have still time to disable it, or if someone tries to steal your furni, it may still be saved.
Now both traders need to approve the trade by checking the "Accept" check box. If either Habbo cancels, the whole trading action will be cancelled.
The trade will be cancelled and the new setting will be in effect from there on.
You'll see that the trading window now has messages that tell you if your trading (or the other Habbo’s trading) is switched off.
Yes you can, but remember, it is considered a gift!
We spoke to a large number of Habbo users and they told us that loss of furni was a big issue for them. Habbo are always trying to find ways to make things safer for you. These new rules enforce a new and safer way of trading, and should reduce the risk of you losing your furni!
If you have followed the link under Account Settings - Motto & Preferences to verify your email but have received nothing there may be a problem with your email account.
Some email services, such as Hotmail/MSN/Windows Live/AOL, often mistakenly identify email from Habbo as spam. Sometimes they will place the email directly into your junk/spam folder and other times they will not deliver the message at all. If you have tried to verify your email and received no response this may be why.
We suggest that you use an alternative email provider such as Gmail, Yahoo! or your ISP email on your Habbo accounts. By doing this you should receive emails from Habbo.
No. Player Support or the Moderators cannot "make" a trading pass for you. You must follow the information given here.
No! This is 3 hours in total. It doesn't mean you have to stay on Habbo for 3 hours everytime.
So for example if you spent 30 minutes in Habbo on Monday, 80 minutes on Wednesday and then 70 minutes on Saturday - you've been on 3 hours!
