Can I join if I'm not vegetarian?

We'd rather you didn't, we prefer to have genuine vegetarian members than a large quantity of members. We understand you might want to be a vege, takes part in the forums or likes the badge or w/e but we'd still rather only REAL vegetarian's joined up. Obviously though we can't stop you signing up, but you will be booted out if proven your not one :P

I've been veggie for about 13 years now. I miss the marshmallows and gelatine based sweeties more than the meats.

I've been a vegetarian for 5-6 years now, eating no meat at all. Here's the reasons for switching:
- I don't like the taste of meat
- I don't agree with how some animals are treated
- I've been food poisoned by it

No one in my family is a vege :-)

it really irritates me when people say the only good animals do is provide food. You could say the same thing about the majority of humans on this planet. How many of us on this planet are likely to do something really memorable and make a significant diffrence in the world?

I am not proud that I used to eat meat, and a person who eats fish but no meat ect. is called a Pesco-Vegeterian, not a vegeterian :] Being vegeterian is totally awesome, and I know that im not just eating something that could of just been killed to be eaten for. It's not fair how animals are treated and I feel that iFringe you are short sighted.
