What is the Jedi Code?

The Jedi Code is a strict set of rules that all Jedi in the Jedi Order must follow. It most importantly states that Jedi must be able to control their emotions and never act based upon them.

What does Force-sensitive mean?

The Force is a great energy field which exists in everything across the Galaxy. Being Force-sensitive means you are able to manipulate the Force around you at your own will and perform certain powers or abilties.

What is a Jedi?

A Jedi is a Force-sensitive being who uses their Light sided Force powers for good. A Jedi's ultimate goal is to keep peace across the civilised Galaxy. They have a most disciplined mind and thus follow a strict code of conduct.

What is the Jedi Order?

The Jedi Order is basicly an organization made up of lots of Jedi who all work together. Besides upholding peace and justice, the Jedi Order also deals with training new people to be Jedi and constantly seeks out students.

Upon arriving at the headquarters you should speak with one of the Jedi there. They will help you get started and supply you with your own Jedi robes. From there on your training as a Jedi begins.

Once you've decided you'll have to find the current headquarters for the Jedi Order. If you ask around someone will no doubt point you in the right direction. Usually the HQ is on Coruscant, Yavin 4 or Ossus.
