What are name stages?
Name stages are a way of classifying different usernames on Habbo based on a ranking of five different levels. Level one represents the most inexperienced Habbo player and level five represents the most elite. The rankings are as follows:
1. Newbie
2. Zeddar
3. Wannabe
4. Tries-too-hard
5. Acceptable

Stage three usernames are classified as "Wannabe". They are identified by the prefix "l" or "i", the usage of "l" as "I", the addition of a comma or a period at the end of the name or the use of obscure words made plural. Stage two usernames are classified as "Zeddar". Stage five usernames are classified as "Acceptable". They are identified by an easy to read construction that does not involve any punctuation or extreme VaRiAtIoN oF cAsE with a word or name that is easy to understand and not too obscure. Examples are visa, Aisling, Tueros, Joord, 9pm and Flowers.

Stage four usernames are classified as "Tries-too-hard". They are identified by the absence of any extra punctuation or abbreviations but the usage of a very obscure word or word comobonation as a username that they probably bought off someone in an attempt to move up from stage three. Examples are GroceryStore, Cardboardbox, WHITEMOUSE, wholewheatbagel and yellowEnvelope.
