What is a virus?

A virus is a small computer program that is loaded onto your PC without your knowledge. Its effect can be so minimal that you don't know it is there, or it can wipe your entire hard drive. Most viruses have the capability to spread to other computers by email attachments.

I know you see this everywhere you go on Habbo, but I'll say it again here. Never give out personal information. You'd be surprised how little info it takes to figure out your pass, where you go to school or where you live.

Report a Retro!

To report a retro that you know about, simply send an email to reportaretro(@)sulake.com with the web address of the retro and Sulake will remove the server from the internet.

In scams, there are no winners. Don't be a scammer, and more importantly don't be a victim. Be smart, be safe, and have fun!

What is a Keylogger?

A Keylogger is a small programme that records every keystroke you make and sends them back to the hacker who can then take your Habbo account or even credit card details! So be careful and run a virus scan every week!

A firewall is a software program designed to prevent unwanted intruders from accessing and controlling your PC. Not only can it prevent an attack from outside, it can also prevent unauthorized communication by software on your PC to someone else.

If you visit a site and are logged out of Habbo, do NOT trust a "login" page that pops up. Go BACK to Habbo.co.uk and login from there. Some sites have created pages that look just like the real thing, but when you enter your info you're actually giving it to someone who is going to use it to login to your Habbo and take your stuff.

How do I wear my group badge?

To wear your badge, follow the steps below:

- Join Hobtech.NET group.

- Visit your Habbo Home.

- Click on Inventory.

- Click Widgets.

- Enable your 'Group Widget'.

- Find 'Hobtech.NET'.

- Click the Green +

- Click 'Make favourite'.

You should now be wearing your Hobtech.NET group badge on the Hotel.

well its been weeks, then i sent an e-mail 2 days ago, and their reply was " this issue was closed, or resolved.." which is not true, they never got back with me on my problem. And now i've been blocked form sending them any replies. So i have no other option but to talk to them directly. =[

If it is a direct Habbo issue, such as your pass, credits trouble, banned, or scammed simply email them. Phonecalls are usually reserved for serious matters. And due to the demand of emails they recieve it may take a few days to get back to you, just be patient :)
