Yes, I love Guillermo Del Toro's films, although Pan's Labyrinth would be my favourite.
For a thriller, The Orphanage is amazing, watched it like 5 times now.
Shame its has subtitles, but its easy to follow like most horror/thrillers - the dialogue isn't hugely challenging.

friday the 13th (i presume you mean the remake if you think the strangers is anything special) = really inadequate in comparison to its predecessors in terms of rusticity and grit-factor...

The horror films that annoy me are the predictible ones (A bunch of teens go to the woods and suprize suprize, they get killed.)why are they still making these? They are all the same to me.
