Silent Alarm is Bloc Party's debut album. Released on 14 February 2005 (UK) and 22 March 2005 (US) it later became NME's album of the year for 2005.

Who are Bloc Party?

Bloc Party are an indie/alternative band from South East London.

The band formed in 2002 with names such as Union, The Angel Range, Diet, and Superheroes Of BMX before choosing Bloc Party in 2003.

A Weekend In The City

Released on February 5 2007, this is Bloc Party's latest album. It entered the UK charts at #2. The first UK single to be released was "The Prayer" on 29 January 2007.

Silent Alarm Remixed

On the 29 August 2005, the remixed version of Bloc Party's debut album "Silent Alarm" was released. It includes the likes of Ladytron, M83 and many more.
