I've seen some things with my eyes that could not ever be explained by using simple logic (i.e. doors in your house closing by themselves, a light cuts off when theirs no one around to flick the switch, shadows in the hall), but I guess some people will just be skeptical and aptly say 'the rats did it'.
I think they're real. The fact is if there's not an afterlife, then guess what. All that happens is you rot, and I don't want that. I don't want to be no better than every killer, murder and absolute scumbag that's graced this Earth. If there's a Heaven and Hell, the good are forever happy, our loved ones, are always there. It means bad people suffer for enternity. I'm happier with that. Do you like the idea that the millions who die for nothing, those needlessly perishing, go into eternal blackness? Nothingness?
Thats a good way to think about it, and I agree with you 100%. I hope there is a Heaven.
I believe in ghosts, i'm scared to death of them. When I was watching Most Haunted Live! last week, I was saying "I bet the ghosts were really nice people" because I didn't want to offend them, incase they haunted me :(
