It really shouldn't be. Because some people just don't feel the need to learn French, or German, or Spanish, or Hungarian, or whatever, but they're forced to anyway. In my old secondary school foreign languages was manditory for years 7, 8 and 9, with both German and French included. And when it came to my year's GCSE years, they had very, very few people take it, and most of them failed. So it is just a hassle, and for no real reason at all, much like PE

thse people are ignorant losers that why.
why should everyone learn their language and they not even bother to learn other peoples.

also being multilingual is hot. i knew this bot who was spanish but lived here and poke english and he used sing me songs in spanish and it was really hot.

I prefer Italian myself, but yeah. i did consider learning something like French or Spanish or Italian for that exact reason

ohh i prefer italin too.
i really want to learn to speak it.

i don't think it should be compulsory, no

because if people wanted to learn it, they'd opt for it.

You do realise 56 countries speak English as a first language right?
Technically speaking that's the average englishman knowing 56 languages.
There isn't a need to speak another language because i could go to 56 countries in the world that speak my language officially.

so you see my point of it being pointless to learn foreign language. the only use it has is using exotic languages to impress women
