i think it doesn't get lighter,i think your eyes just get used to the colour and it appears lighter. But on topic,i like it can be used well but can also be used badly.

Well you see the preset things? It depends on how many of them are at a certain darkness or something.
I think its great for games and themed rooms, and the Moon Lamp blends in well with it
