I've been 'hacked' - what should I do?

The first thing you need to do is change your Habbo Bobba.

When you have changed your Habbo Bobba, this should stop the person who has taken your Habbo account from accessing it again.

NOTE: Make sure to use a different Bobba than the one you used before. It should be a mix of small and big letters, numbers and symbols (like !, %, @).

Tips

Personal stuff is personal! Keep your full name, address, phone numbers, photos and school name secret so nobody can scam you or place you in danger.
Keep your pals in pixels. Never meet up with people you only know from the Internet. If someone asks you to meet them, say 'No thanks!' and report them to an adult.
Don't be scared to speak up. If someone is making you feel uncomfortable or scaring you with threats, report them or speak to an adult.

What are Moderators?

Moderators are carefully selected, police vetted and fully trained members of Habbo staff. They can send warnings to misbehaving Habbos, kick them out of rooms or even ban them from Habbo.

Who are Habbo guides?

Habbo Guides are experienced players who like to share their knowledge of Habbo with others and make new players feel welcome.

Habbo's Guides meet and greet new Habbos, guiding them around the place and generally making them feel at home.

Remember: new users might not need help with something specific - they are expecting a friendly welcome to Habbo, maybe a friend or two and guidance to their Habbo experience.

Why did the Habbo eXpert's go?

Habbo X was a small team which players could only apply to join at certain times of the year. Because the team was small, not every experienced player who wanted to help new Habbos could join and new players often didn't know where to find an X to gain help. The Habbo Guide feature allows large numbers of players to join and work their way through 10 levels of badges which recognise their experience as a Guide.

How do I Call For Help?

To get help at any time of the day or night, simply use the 'Call for help' function located in the blue question mark at the bottom right of the screen.

Remember that the 'Emergency Help' option is a Bobbaemergency service only, and abusing it may lead to your account being banned.

Why do I need to activate my email?

It is important to activate your email address so that you receive any emails from Habbo. If you have selected that you would like updates/newsletters from Habbo you will not receive them unless you have activated your email address. It is also important if you want to contact Habbo for any queries you may have.

When using the Habbo Help tool you will not be able to get through using your Habbo account unless you have activated your email address.
