Religious Side..

Wonder why there's not much on the group about Jesus?

Scientists have calculated that Jesus was infact born in Easter, as this is when Mary & Joseph would have travelled ( remember, the Romans were efficient record keepers ) and this is the only time of year when shephards would be in the fields as the new born lambs have to be protected.

Christmas was held at this time to compete with the popular Pagan Winter Festival, and won.

Christmas isn't the only thing happening in winter!
Don't forget about the other religious festivals,
and the not so religious ( such as the sales xD )
Hannuka for instance! There's a wealth of history too behind Christmas!

If all that bores you, you can always post your favourite Christmas present you've gave or received!

Ya no what i hate about xmas?

1. these poor people who live on the streets or abandoned or just plain poor, they dont get any presents :(

2. Its xmas eve and then u wake up and open ur presents and then its all over >:[
