Cerebral Pasly is primarily a disorder of voluntary movement and co-ordination, due to a defect in the growth of brain tissue during birth. CP is split up into 3 groups;
-Spastic cerebral palsy
-Ataxic cerebral palsy
-Dyskinetic cerebral palsy

People with Cerebal Palsy often have other related conditions. Such as:

My Cerebral palsy was noticed when I was around 2 years old. It was noticed that I walked on my toes with inturned feet. I have spastic CP, but my left leg is affected alot worse than my right. But because my CP was noticed quite early and treated at an early age, its quite mild now after 12 years of Physiotherapy. I have also undertaken one serious operation and numerous Botox injections.
