What is Autism?
Autism is a disorder of the brain that appears generally before the age three - people with autism have problems with interacting with people, communicating and controlling there behaviour. Asperger sydrome can also be classed as autism - however it is lower down on the spectrum.

    I have Autism. It's awesome, I've just been moved up to Year 9 early. I play Guitar, drums and bass. I can read and write well. I was able to read a newspaper when I was 4.

    i have ppl i know and family with autisum and there isNOTHING I repeat NOTHING wrong with them at all they are people just like us and should be treated the same

    When people have autism or adhd they instantly think it to stupid people. Not everyone is great but people should still be treated the same!!

    My Brother has Autism.He is really clever,he can speak and stuff.He is really intelligent when it comes to maths but his Imagination is Crap.And his moods change instantly.Its like he has mood swings at the age of 11 :l

    My cousin autism and adhd, he's a great kid i love him to bits, but no-one ever understand when he goes out and ppl make all these faces and it's like ugh, get a grip! I explain to them, excuse him he has austism, but they are like keep him under control!! This group is great, it's nice to see people who understand.

    my 8year old sister has autism.
    she was born fine. but premature.
    the docter gave her tomuch of this sugerstuff. and she has a funny turn and her brain bled in the talking bit,
    she cant make freinds, she dosent understannd somethings. the badestthing is SHE CANT TALK!
    she is blessed. and she can hear a tune off a piano anywhereand play it on her piano. or teach herself some tunes!
    eg:entertainer. nursary rhymes. ECT
    i also have a baby brother theo, he was premature. but luckely not autstic
