What if I go into a room, with another Guide?
Work as a team, the more people, the more help you guys will be :). If this person in particular your assisting has a question, but you don't know the answer, chances are another Guide might know.
Well, what if the other Guides complain they were here first?
You really want to set a good example for the new Habbo, insted of scaring him/her off. Try reasoning with the other Guide(s) in Whisper, insted of arguing in broad daylight.
I am trying to explain what [Insert thing here] is/does, but they won't listen. What should I do?
Throughout the world theres different people. Not ever person learns in the same manner. Take me for example, I am a visual learner, I learn better through seeing, or lectures. Try different ways to teach the new habbo about it. For example: If I was teaching someone about the Chat (AkA Instant Messanger) on Habbo. If they didn't grasp the concept right away, I might use it to say "Hey, this is what it will look like if someone speaks to you using the Chat feature". Then I'd direct them to the Chat Feature and show him/her how to Message me back etc. In short, don't be afraid to try new ways of Guiding! Remeber! Theres more than 1 way to skin a cat
What is an Animal Badge?
An Animal Badge is a badge you get as a reward for Guiding new habbo's. Think of it as Habbo's thank you for helping. For every X (X being the number of Habbo's you've Guided, may it be 1 up to 10.) amount of Habbo's you've Guided and have kept the friendship for 3 days, and they've been active on the hotel, you will get the next Animal Badge . I cannot give an exact number of Habbo's you'd need to Guide to get a Certain badge, because there is no real known number as it stands.
Why is [NameHere] automatically on my Friends List when I go into their room? This is how the automated Computer (Which gives your your next badge when you earn it, automatically!) knows if you've Guided that Habbo.
Why can't I ever move up on the Animal Badge Scale?
Well, theres certainly more than 1 possibility as to why you can't get the next Level Animal Badge. Some Being: - You broke off your friendship with the Guidee, Which makes the habbo "Unguided" so (s)he will not count toward your next Animal Badge
- The Habbo broke the friendship with you, which will count as an unhelped Habbo - The Habbo didn't stay active.
What should I do if they ask for Furni(ture)?
Calmy let them know, unless a Guide would like to give them furni(ture) , they don't need to. Because a Guide's job is to Guide them around the hotel, and not give them furni(ture). Again, I say unless you want to. You can also explain the Starter Furni(ture), Paying Jobs, or Gaming Rooms to gain furni(ture).
Someone called for a Guide, but the habbo wasn't new, and it took me to a fully furnished room etc. Whats should I do?
Do you job :)Greet the Habbo, ask the Habbo if they need help etc. If they were just advertising a room, move on to the next Habbo. Unless you wanted to chill. If not, think about it this way: You might get a badge out of it!

Why did all these people come to my room?
Because when you called for a Guide (Who is a person keen on helping others :)) anyone who was searching for a New Habbo was alerted that you were looking for a Guide. Then they receive the option to come join you in your room.
Don't Forget...
- You should stay calm when your Guiding others, everyone has bad days, but theres no need to take it out on the New Habbo's :)
- Stay Patient!
- If you don't know the answer to their question, simply tell them that. Try to not give out information your not 100% Sure on.
- Be friendly towards them, they're New, and probably are unsure of whats going on

There Asking Me For Furni! Explain that your job is not to give fruni to them as your a guide to help them understand and enjoy habbo! Help them get fruni insted by takeing them to fun games and giverways!
Iev Lost Track Of Who Im Guideing! Simply make a freinds list that has all there names in! Go to Account Settings > Friend Manager > Make New List and add them into the list as you get them!
They Will Not Leave Me Alone!! Simply explain that you have to help other habbos that are in need! Pair them up with a other one of the habbos you are guideing this will sure to help!
Im Stuck with things to say! Get to know them! Ask them how there day has been and what are they doing or looking what they are forward to, this should get you a new friend!
I Want To Do Something Diffrent! Host a Guide and New Habbo Party! This should be fun for you and your fellow guiders learn some tricks and tips and make lots of new freinds! You may never know who you might meet!

Well for starters i click guy waving and search But when im in the hard part :))
Well dont all pile them and smouther them because you might force them off habbo thats for starters

Now youve probally found someone who is lonely and by themself and so on so i start a normal habbo convo about what stuff they like and habbo
Tip: If boy talk about sports or some science stuff and if girl try talking about there room design
After that you should ask them how there visit is at the Hotel and then ask if they need help :)) I help them for a week or so then there ready i recomend 5 habbos per week :)))) Yeah and if its a rude newbie i suggest you remove them. Red = QGreen = Answer

How do i get credits?
Click the icon with the Chair onto it then you can click get credits and click on the method you want to buy the credits and read the instructions once bought you should get a code you take that code and put it in the box titled with Redeem Credits
How do i get Furniture?? Well there our 3 simple ways of obtaining Furniture 1) You can buy credits (explained above) 2) You can win the furniture in Gaming and racing Floors, 3) You can win furniture by gambling it ( i suggest you do not say this one)
My Looks boring how do i change my looks? Well easy, click on your habbo character then once clicked look for the box that has your habbo name above then in the box click yourself and it should open a new window and you can choose your looks the way you chosed at the start of your habbo creation! :)
Is this all i can do sit in my room and be bored??? No, you can click the hotel navigator the icon with the miniture hotel and then you can either choose a public room to click on or a guest room f you choose a public it might be catorgorized so you'll need to click it more then once! in a guest room they are catorgorized is well i suggest you choose your favourite one or tour them :)!
Oh how do you get that bobble hat or other furni etc.? Well these are known as HC clothes known as habbo club clothes they are exclusive clothes to members who buy this membership :)

Welcome to your excellent guide to avoiding common scams as written by the wonderful Turnipcloud - this is for very new people so you will probably know all this already, but if you've only just joined I suggest you read on..
In this section we will be outlining scams which can occur on the hotel:
Scams on the client
1) Game rooms If you are playing a game such as falling furni (ff) or costume change (cc), there are various different things which involve giving away your furni to the owner for free, in return for something valuable to you in the game Here are the main terms and what they mean, plus a suggested reasonable price (prices obviously depend on the owner and how they run their game)
p2p Definition: Pay to play (sometimes known as "p2s" which is "pay to stay") - if you have lost the game, but you want a chance to be in the next round, then you give the owner an item of furni for free in order to be allowed to stay Usually this is a 3 credit furni, like a plasto chair
rev Definition: Reverse - you usually pay double what a p2p costs, and you move the losing onto another player, who then will either have to leave or pay to stay themselves
Auto Definition: Automatic win - you win instantly by paying a rare REMEMBER: People may auto you back, so you do not actually automatically win.. and people can end up spending a lot on this
Advice • Always ask what the prize is and then consider if you would normally trade what you are p2ping for what the owner is offering as a prize.
• Bear in mind that the owner may well be lying, and although it is against the Habbo Way, it is very hard to prove if someone has scammed you, and if you gave someone furni, that furni is gone and is now theirs - so decide if you want to take the risk
• You could be kick and banned after you paid, so again, make sure you're willing to risk your furniture for nothing
• If you decide to auto, bear in mind that if the owner has a clone (another Habbo up in the room who is also playing the game but they are pretending to be a different person) they could keep saying that the "other person" who was really them had paid to make you keep paying until you have no furni left but you will never win
2) Advertisements for free credits
Scammers in Habbo may be seen shouting out in rooms about sites promising free credits for you - but it is really, really important to remember that:
These sites CANNOT give you "free" credits - you can only buy credits from the Habbo site
and in fact it is illegal for users to sell furniture or credits for real money (for example thrones on ebay - so don't do be tempted to spend your money there either!)
Advice • Never, ever, ever go on these sites, because even if you do not enter any of your details, there are various things they can do to steal your account, which include getting keylogged and this means they can see what you type in - which makes not just your Habbo at risk but everything you do, for example online banking or anyone else who uses Habbo from that computer
• Remember that people who say they are not scammers but invite you to these sites are lying - they're not going to say that they are
• Also bear in mind that even if someone you trust tells you, it may not actually be them If the person you actually know went on the site, someone else can steal their account, and pretend to be them to make you go on the site - the same is only going to happen to you
3) Type your Bobba and it comes out as stars
You may hear this being shouted, however it is very important to remember they are lying
Advice • Never ever type your Bobba anywhere at all except your Bobba box
• Don't make your Bobba something obvious or guessable - have a mixture of cases (capital and not capital letters) and use numbers aswell
• Why would Habbo make people's passwords come out as stars? This would simply make people's passwords guessable. For example, say you had made your Bobba "bananas", then whenever you talked about banaBobbat would come out as stars and everyone would be able to work out what it was
Something else worth noting is that when people say press F5 to do something, they just want to make you reload - it's not a scam as such, but it is annoying. This is also true for CTRL + WATER (reloads on the last letter) or writing your Bobba and then putting CTRL + a letter which just enters it
4) Furni scams
4) "I can double your furni if you give me it"
If someone says this to you, the best thing to do, is report them and leave They are lying to you
• Remember, never give your furniture to someone else - that was your money you spent... if someone said "Give me your five pound note and I'll give you a ten pound note" would you do it??
4) The hurry up and trade scam
This scam is particularly nasty, because the person tricks you into agreeing to a deal you'd never do in a million years You put in your furni and they say "hurry up tick it quickly" and they close and opent he box a few times putting in the correct item, and then they put in a rubbish bit of furni in which looks a bit like the right one and you tick the box ...leaving you with a bad deal So you might end up with an area sofa rather than an HC sofa :'(
Also it's worth pointing out that if someone comes into your room and says 1000 credits for the whole room, they are most likely doing this to trick you into picking up all your furniture - so the best thing is to get them to show you the credits before you pick anything up
Advice • Always check over what you are accepting - if you're not sure if it's worth it, look at the catalogue prices for norms (normal furniture), or use www.habbox.com to check the prices for rares
• If something seems too good to be true, be extra careful about what you do
• If someone offers you something and then close the box and open it again to trade it, make sure they're still offering the same number of items - don't just accept
Scams on the forums/off the client
This is basically the same deal as the advertisements in Habbo claiming free credits if you visit a certain site - but it is worth noting there is a lot of these scams on the forums and you should never ever click these links and don't quote what they say either - some people have been banned for this even though they weren't the ones doing the scamming
Other scams If you've made friends with someone, you may trust them a lot, but it still doesn't mean you should give them the pass to your account - it's YOUR account, and they have their own
If you want to give someone some furni for free, then that is completely up to you, but giving away your Bobba holds a lot of other possible bad sides - remember even people you've known a long time may not be trustworthy
Don't give people just because they ask and make you feel bad that you have some and they don't - you spent your money on here - keep it. Never lend something to someone if you can't face the possibility you might never get it back, and don't be afraid to say no to deals you don't like, or giving furniture to people. If they get stroppy with you, they weren't worth having your furni anyway
• People could pretend to be you, and insult your friends or get you permanently banned even though it wasn't you
• People will be able to find out your email address and change your Bobba meaning you can never get back into your account again
• They can steal all your furniture, delete your rooms, and change your homepage - wrecking everything you've done
It's important to remember that you shouldn't even give your Bobba to your in real life friends, your friends on Habbo you've known for 2 years or your brothers and sisters Even if you trust them, they might still find it fun to ruin your account
Downloading software If you download software which allows you to do things in the hotel you can't normally do - like flood a room (send lots of messages very fast) or win at falling furni, you may well download a virus aswell which means people can get into your account Also no one likes people who flood, or cheat
People can also make other fake copies of the hotel known as "retros" where furni is free Remember, this is not only illegal, but dangerous Again, they could get into your Habbo account
Habbo Guides are the people welcone new user's when they join Habbo.
What are credits?
Credits are the hotel's currency, which you pay for by various methods; check the credits tab at the top of the screen.
What are Pixels?
Pixels are another form of currency on the hotel, which you can earn by doing various things, such as logging in daily & completing achievements.
What are Effects?
You can buy effect's using pixels, effects are cool and easy to use, there are different effects to choose from such as being invisible to having flies flying around you!
What is Battle Ball & SnowStorm?
These are hotel games which are very popular and are now free to play. You can play these games whenever you want!
If i'm in trouble what can i do?
If you are in trouble or being bullied by certain habbo's take a note of there names and contact a moderator by click the blue question mark then click on get live help.
What are Moderators?
Moderators are the people that keep the hotel safe for all the user's and sort out them naughty Habbo's. Moderators always keep an eye on everything that is said in the hotel, so be careful about what you say!
What is Habbo Club [HC]
Habbo Club is a special club where you cant get many different things, such as free furni each month, more clothes & Hair, and also you get to skip any Que's there are! Also you can get a HC badge which you can show of around the Hotel.
What are Collectables?
Collectables are basically Habbo Rare's, a new one is released each month at the price of 25 credits.
