Tbh, he won through sympathy. "I pay for my mums petrol through dancing blah blah" Come on, 1. She probably get benefits, or should go and Bobbaing work. 2. He has money to pay for his dancing, singing lessons (yes he can sing!). AND hes not even good looking :/, you wouldnt even look twice if he werent famous.
