Luton Town MIGs Exclusive group

The infamous incident is remembered by Luton Town fans as "the day London invaded" as it is alleged that other firms had joined together with the Millwall Bushwackers, including firms from Chelsea, Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Gillingham.

On 13 March 1985 Millwall visited Kenilworth Road to play Luton Town in an FA Cup quarter final match. When Millwall lost, their fans started to riot, and invaded the pitch. Over 700 seats were ripped out of the stands. The surrounding streets also saw more violence and the MIGs did their best to fight back but were heavily outnumbered. The carnage that ensued resulted in a ban on away fans by Luton Town, which in turn resulted in Luton'Bobbapulsion from the Football League Cup.
