Again, I say, Emo means Emotional, so you can conclude that many songs are emo. But there's also an Emo music style, which is like Taking Back Sunday's first album (only emo band I know), My Chemical Romance is Alternative rock (I'm pretty sure you've never listened to its first album), Lostprophets is alternative metal (I'm also pretty sure you've never heard of it's first album either) And linkin park is Rock/Metal, none of those are emo.
