We in the Habbo UK office have been eagerly anticipating the release of the new musical drama Fame & it has us singing and dancing in the office aisles. Released nationwide on Friday September 25th, Fame also brings with it a cool competition to Habbo.
Capturing the visceral excitement and explosive energy this reinvention of the 1980 musical, Fame follows a talented group of dancers, singers, actors and artists over four years at the New York City High School of Performing Arts as they are given a chance to live out their dreams. But in an incredibly competitive atmosphere, plagued by self-doubt, each student’s passion will be put to the test and they will discover who among them will achieve the ultimate prize: FAME.
While we follow their trials and tribulations, have you got what it takes to have Fame?
With the winners and best talent receiving a Fame badge and the class clowns receiving nothing but detention, this is your chance to show what you have got.
To enter, simply show off your skills in Habbo, put it on video and upload it to our Habbo Muzu FAN TV channel.
You may enter the following categories:
- DANCE, DANCE: So you think you can dance? Show us your foxtrot, two-step, jazz and contemporary disco shapes to any piece of music you like. You may enter as a group.
- PRODUCER / DIRECTOR: Take any music song, film scene or even piece of opera and make yourself a Habbo version of its video. If you want to sing it yourself over the video, than do it- there are no boundaries of what can be accepted – except it must be creative.
- SINGER: Fancy yourself as a Britney? Got better pitch and tone than Cheryl Cole? If so, write your own lyrics and Habbo-sing them acappella.
- TALENT TEACHER / SPOTTER: Even if you have talent, it means nothing unless you are spotted. Those of you who can recommend a great video will also have a chance to win.
To enter, put your videos the Muzu Habbo channel and send the link to entries to competitions.uk@sulake.com. Include your Habbo name and use the subject FAME: CATEGORY NAME.
*PLEASE PUT'FAME' at the start of your video name, so we can find them all easily within the Fan TV section.*
