Starting on Thursday 10th of September from 4.30pm to 5.30pm NHS health advisors will make their first visit to the NHS Advice Infobus to answer any questions or queries that you may have about HPV, cervical cancer and the HPV vaccination.
HPV stands for human papillomavirus. HPV is very common and you can catch it through sexual contact with another person who already has it. Because it is so common, most people will get infected at some point in their lifetime. A small minority of HPV strains can cause cervical cancer.
The HPV vaccination will help protect against cervical cancer. The vaccine will potentially save the lives of up to 400 women each year.
We have not only invited the health experts to come once a week for the next few months and dedicated a group for education about HPV, cervical cancer and the vaccination, but we are giving you a chance to win some unique stickers and badges.
The first sticker can be obtained by simply answering this NHS Advice Infobus' poll.
