More fantastical scribbling found

As I search for Gottfried and Don Smith, more delirious diary entries come to light - just where the blue moons are they going?

Shiver my timbers; this exploring lark is getting crazy!

We have found brand new diary entries from Don Smith - the man who signs his book with DS.

The pages, left wrapped in banana leaves, were preserved and left on what looks like an exotic Ecotron mushroom.

They read:

“My feet hurt, they hurt so much. Not in a good way. But somehow I found my way to the hospital. There I rested, I relaxed, but I must have taken too many painkillers…
And so I went down. I have seen the mountains; I have seen the secrets of the deep ocean. But my hardest quest will be into myself.”

“I journeyed, through myself, through the deserts, the jungles, the oceans. For many minutes I travelled. My body ached, my mind rumbled, my feet however were nicely healed. I thought I would fall from the sky, drown in the ocean, become lunch for a hive of fire ants.”

“I was hungry now. I was tired. The shadows loomed over me like really tall kids in a playground. When, at long last I saw my spirit HIM. In an explosion of light… it was… it was… The horror, the horror…”

What could Don Smith be talking about? Maybe he is mad on crazy berries or maybe he is the smart one?

Anyway, who is this Don Smith character? Has anyone seen him?
