Coming third in last year’s X-Factor, was just the beginning for Britain’s new pop act.

Eoghan Quigg, following in countrywoman Nadine Coyle’s footsteps, takes his first step out of the reality TV realm with the release of his first solo album.

The self-titled record is full of power-pop anthems and brand new takes on old classics including ‘We’re All In This Together’, ‘Ben’ and ‘Never Forget’.

Lead track ‘28,000 Friends’ is particularly impressive. It is a power-pop anthem about the ups and downs of love and longing in a social networking world, and harks back to the guitar-driven sounds of Busted in their hey-day.

Eoghan will be coming in to meet and hang out with everyone todayat 4pm. So make sure you prepare all your questions and come to the Theatre in time.
