Manga fuelled Action Adventure hits the big screen

Hold onto your Dragon Balls because legendary anime Dragonball Evolution is coming to a cinema near you.

Dragonball Evolution is an action adventure movie centering on the heroic but kooky Goku; a kid who wants nothing more than to be normal and fit in at school, but discovers he is a powerful warrior with the strength to save the Earth from an evil rogue.

With the Dragonball graphic novels, videogames and TV series all being phenomenally successful, this is spring 2009’s must-see movie.

The story begins when Goku follows his grandfathers dying request to find the great Master Roshi and summon his hidden inner powers in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. Goku's quest is simple: obtain the mystical Dragonballs before Piccolo does.

Want to know why King Piccolo is so evil? Want to know about the cool team that help Goku fulfill his quest? Then make sure you check out the official Dragonball Evolution site by clicking below.
The film stars Justin Chatwin (War of the Worlds), Chow Yun-fat (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) and James Marsters (Buffy, Angel, Smallville) and is based on the King Piccolo (Marsters) and Piccolo JR sagas.

The movie combines the most important parts of the Dragonball mythology in one episode such as Bulma meeting Goku (Chatwin) and Goku training with Master Roshi (Yun-fat).
