Please find below, the Terms and Conditions for the London shopping trip competition in association with Harajuku Lovers fragrances.

Sulake UK Limited (“Sulake”) – Prize Details and Competition Rules

By entering into this competition, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below which may be amended or varied at any time by us. We will provide notice to you of any such revised terms and conditions by posting them on the site at www.habbo.co.uk/articles/445-harajuku-lovers-terms-conditions.

Terms and Conditions:

1. To be entered into the competition, you must:

Send your entry to competitions.uk@sulake.com with the subject HARAJUKU DESIGN. You must include your Habbo name.

All winners will be required to give personal information about the friends and adult they will be bringing with them.

2. The Prize:
The prize for this competition is 1 (one) night in a London hotel, dinner, a set of Harajuku Lovers fragrances, TopShop vouchers and a Lucky Voice karaoke afternoon of fun for 4 people!
There is only one prize to be won and to be shared by the winner and 3 friends. The prize will consist of:
- 1 night in a London hotel for 4 people (room-only, sharing 2 twin rooms)
- dinner for 4 people in a London restaurant
- 1 karaoke party for 4 people at Lucky Voice karaoke club in London (Sunday afternoon only)
- return travel for 4 people by train to London from any mainline station in Great Britain
- 1 set of Harajuku Lovers fragrances
- £200 of TopShop vouchers valid anywhere in the UK

Notes on prize:

The accommodation, meal and karaoke will be arranged by the Promoter -– COTY UK - and must all be taken on the same date to be agreed with the winner, subject to availability. The travel can only be taken as part of the prize.
One member of the group must be a responsible adult over the age of 18.
The prize is being offered and organised by COTY UK.
Only one entry will be accepted per person.


3. Each of the winner and 3 nominated friends who is under 18 must have their parent’s or guardian’s consent to accept the prize. Where one or more of the winner and 3 nominated friends is under 18, the parent or guardian of one of the under-18s must be nominated as one of the 3 friends. If the prize is to be taken during a school term, the winner and any of the 3 nominated friends who are in full-time education must also have written permission from their headteacher for any absence from education.
No person who is under the age of 12 will be eligible to enter the competition.

4. This competition is free to enter. Entrants will be required to be registered with Habbo..

5. You must be a resident of England, Scotland or Wales and be accessing the profile page from one of these countries in order to participate in this promotion.

6. All parts of the prize are subject to availability and there will be no cash alternatives to any of them. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be separated or deferred in whole or in part. All parts of the prize are non-transferable.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute all or any part or aspect of the prize with an alternative of the same or higher value.

7. Neither Sulake nor the Promoter shall be responsible for arranging or reimbursing the winner or nominated friends for the cost of any travel, meals, accommodation or any other expenses except as detailed above.

8. This promotion starts on Thursday 29 January 2009. The closing date for entries is midnight on Thursday 19 February 2009 (“Closing Date”).

9. This is a skill-based competition. A panel of judges, which will include at least one judge from COTY UK and one independent judge, will review all eligible entries received and select 1 winner. The decisions of these judges are final and binding. In the event of a tie between any eligible entries, the tie will be broken by an additional judge who will the judge the tied entries.

10. By submitting your entry, you:
• grant Sulake an irrevocable, worldwide licence, for the duration of the protection of the copyrights (and any renewals, reversions and extensions of such copyrights) to: (i) reproduce, copy, modify or alter your entry; (ii) use, review, assess and otherwise analyse your entry (in whole or in part) in connection with this Contest and any future contests sponsored by Sulake; and (iii) exploit your entry (in whole or in part) in connection with the promotion of this Contest or otherwise in all media, whether now known or hereafter invented;
• hereby waive any and all moral rights” or any similar right that you may have or hereinafter acquire in the entry and all its content (including without limitation any rights under sections 77-85 inclusive of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988, (as amended from time to time); and
• agree to sign any necessary documentation that may be required for us and our designees to make use of the rights you granted above.

11. The name of the prize winner will be available on the website at http://www.habbo.co.uk/groups/harajukulovers after 31 March 2009.


12. The winner will be contacted by Sulake or a designated representative by the e-mail address provided when the user registered with Sulake, within 28 days of the Closing Date and the winner must claim the prize by Tuesday 31 March 2009. The prize must be taken before 30 June 2009 or it will be forfeited and no alternative will be offered.
If the winner has not contacted Sulake to claim their prize by Tuesday 31 March 2009, the winner shall forfeit the right to claim their prize and Sulake shall have the right to select an alternative winner.

13. Sulake does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet or otherwise. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

14. Entrants must supply full details as required above and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.

15. As a prize winner, you release us from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury and/or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with this competition or the use or acceptance of the prize or any portion thereof (save where due to our negligence). No compensation or cash refund will be payable.

16. You agree to Sulake using your name and likeness and any material provided to us by you in entering this competition for advertising and publicity purposes without any compensation to you.
The winner and 3 friends may be required to take part in publicity with COTY UK.

17. This competition is not open to employees or contractors of Sulake or COTY, any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the competition or their direct family members.

18. Sulake's decision is final in every situation, including any not covered in these terms and conditions. No correspondence will be entered into.

19. In order to be eligible for a prize, the prize winner and nominated friends agree to sign an affidavit of eligibility if required.

20. Sulake reserves the right to cancel or suspend the competition at any time, with or without notice. Sulake may withdraw any prize that you may have won if you breach these terms and conditions.

21. This competition is governed by the laws of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

22. No person who is not a party to these terms and conditions may enforce any term of it and the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply.

23. If any provision in these terms and conditions is declared void or unenforceable by any court or other body of competent jurisdiction, or is otherwise rendered so by any applicable law, that provision shall to extent of such invalidity or unenforceability be deemed severable and all other provisions of these terms and conditions not affected by such invalidity or unenforceability shall remain in full force and effect.

24. Sulake shall be entitled to assign the benefit of these terms and conditions in whole or in part to any third party and in the event of any such assignment you hereby undertake to fulfil your obligations hereunder pursuant thereto.

25. Data protection: Sulake’s Privacy Policy will apply to all information that we receive from your entry. Sulake will only use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition and will not provide them to any other organisation without your permission.
