Having got a little too sun burnt in Miami, I dragged Lost_Witness away across the South.

Fortunately for me, with Mohito in hand, Lost_Witness agreed that it was time for some jazz!

So we drove back up through Florida, across Alabama and Mississippi before we reached New Orleans!

The former French outpost is famed for its live jazz, flea markets, antique shopping, Louis Armstrong, Creole and Cajun cuisine, the New Orleans Saints, crawfish and, of course, Mardi Gras.

Fortunately, in the back of our convertible Cadillac, are two trumpets and a double bass!

And don't forget to try the very tasty cajun chicken burger and chips!
