Update Your Preferences

We have introduced some great new privacy preferences which allow you to tweak who can find your Habbo.

We've all been there. You are hanging out at this really cool party with some great new people and you're having a good time. Suddenly, someone appears to be lurking in the doorway! Isn't that the person you traded a duck with a couple of months ago and then added to console for future trading possibilities? Why have they come to your party? You didn't invite them!

We have added two new privacy settings within the 'Motto & Preferences' section of your 'Account Settings'. The first is 'Online Status' which determines how your Habbo will appear to others when you are logged in to Habbo. Selecting 'Everybody' means that everyone who visits your Habbo Home or has you on console will be able to see that you are online. Selecting 'Nobody' means that no-one will be able to see that you are online. You will appear to be offline.

The second is 'Follow Me' which allows you to specify whether you want anybody to be able to follow you to any room you visit or not. Turning the option to 'Nobody' means that no-one on your console will be able to find you unless you tell them. Choosing 'My friends' means everyone on your console will be able to find you.
